Way to go Boof

Boof Bonser experienced his first bullpen role on Wednesday night. He pitched 2.2 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts to pick up a win. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come, Bonser can be electric at times and could be great asset to the Twins bull pen. Perkins had his second rough outing in a row and Boof and the Twins offense bailed him out. Maybe Perkins needs some pressure to perform well. His last two starts have been rough since the Twins have decided to keep him in the rotation while demoting Boof to the pen. Anyway it is nice to see the Twins get back on track with a win after a loss.
My favorite thing about the game was the 2 for 1 sacrifice fly. This is why love Gomez, he is one of few players that can go from second to home on sacrifice fly. I am really glad he is on the Twins. Just think about the criticism of the Santana trade many people, thought the Yankees package with Hughes and Cabrera was better. I am really glad that didn't happen. Gomez is becoming one of my favorite players and he really fits in perfectly in Minnesota.
